There is racing in Dun Laoghaire for any dinghy. Whatever you sail, from foiling Moth to classic clinker, you're welcome in the fleet.

There is dinghy racing in Dublin Bay and Dun Laoghaire harbor all year.  Here's a summary of the types of dinghies you might see, with links to their nearest class association for more info.

Each of these boat types is seen in the racing.

Laser Standard, IDRA 14, OK Dinghy, RS400, RS200, 470, Laser Radial, 420, GP14, K1, Finn Dinghy, Laser Vago, Byte CII, International Moth, 49er, RS800, 29er, Mirror Dinghy, etc.

As you can see, this covers a pretty wide range, from wildly high performance to perfect family boats.
